Mohan has 36 years experience and an IT leader, specializing in Cyber Security and related Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) for critical infrastructure including refinery, nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, hydrounits and mission critical IT infrastructure etc.Currently, teaching Cyber Security courses at premiere institutes like IIT Madras, IIIT-Bangalore&IIIT Sri City. Mohan holds a M.Tech degree from IIT-Roorkee.
Currently Mission Integrator and Innovator of Forensics Intelligence Surveillance and Security Technologies (FISST). He is pioneering Cyber Education space in India to create awareness and fill the gap in skills to tackle potential damages due to cybercrimes and to impart training to students and working professionals with certification programmes from leading institutes like IIT Madras.
Undertaken R&D projects for AI/ML application for Threat Intelligence at Edge devices (e.g. WiFi Access Points) and other like Security Operation Centre (SOC) etc.
Mohan is also a co-investigator for a GOI sponsored project at IIIT D&M, Kanchipuram, to detect Image morphing and Child Pornography using AI/ML techniques, with a very high rate of % accuracy. The process of making stand-alone applications for mobile and web browser plugins for end-users to install the application to prevent anyone viewing the prohibited contents using their mobile or laptop or desktop is under way.
